The Rise of Hitler and National Socialism
On this Private Third Reich tour you will learn about the early events that ultimately led to the rise of National Socialism, Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich. On May 25th 1913, Adolf Hitler arrived in Munich for the first time. From the party’s creation in 1920 to the end of WW2, the city was the heart of the Nazi organisation. In 1934 Hitler titled Munich the ‘Capital of the Movement’.
The tour is split into two parts. The first part focuses on origins and understanding of symbolism, ideology, antisemitism, propaganda and bombing in Munich. The next part focuses on the life story of Adolf Hitler in chronological order from his birth in 1889, arriving in Munich in 1913 until he becomes the Chancellor of Germany in 1933.
Throughout the tour I will share a lot of photos, pictures and interesting facts. We always take a short 15 minute break in the middle and at the end of the tour I can give you a list of book recommendations upon request.
Prepare yourself for a respectable presentation, as I do have a personal family connection to this part of history. Watch the video below so you can understand why I think it is important to keep talking about this part of history.
Note: You do not need any base level of understanding of this topic to enjoy the tour. I explain everything in a way that anyone can understand the history.
